Joanne completed her Bachelor of Science in 1990 followed by a Bachelor of Applied Science (Podiatry) in 1993. Her love of running led her to work in Sports Medicine and was the consulting Podiatrist for Heidelberg United and Northcote City soccer clubs for many years. Joanne started Mentone Podiatry in 1997. The clinic has 3 Podiatrist’s consulting and operates 6 days a week. Joanne has been employed on a part-time basis with Monash Health since 1996. She has worked with the Diabetic, Rheumatology, Paediatric and Orthopaedic teams over the years. Her current role at Monash Children’s Hospital is with the Victorian Paediatric Orthopaedic Network and the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service. Joanne is currently conducting her research in Toe Walking and has recently published an article in Gait & Posture titled ‘Full length foot orthoses have an immediate treatment effect and modify gait of children with idiopathic toe walking’. Joanne’s interests include fashion, shopping, travelling, reading and spending time with her family.

Elizabeth Holland

Lizzie graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Podiatric Practice in 2015. During University she worked at Active Feet which has given her a broad knowledge in all aspects of footwear. After a couple of years working privately in Melbourne, she moved overseas and continued to develop her skills in a busy private clinic in Central London. Lizzie enjoys treating lower limb overuse injuries and is also passions about general treatment for all age groups to keep people on their feet.

Outside of Podiatry Elizabeth enjoys travelling, exploring Melbourne's Food scene and a nice glass of wine.



Stephanie Skinner

Stephanie completed her Masters of Podiatric from La Trobe University in 2014. She also completed a course in dry needling which she incorporates into her management of lower limb conditions. For the past four years, Stephanie has been working at Mentone Podiatry Clinic. She enjoying all aspects of podiatry and caring for her patients. She has interest in Sports Injuries, Dry Needling, Nail Surgery and Fungal nails. In her spare time, she enjoys exercise, reading and dancing. Stephanie is a professionally trained dancer, having danced for fourteen years in ballet and contemporary
